Digital Labs 7″ LCD Portable TV Review
Review of the 7″ LCD Portable TV from Digital Labs. This is a Portable digital ready TV that I bought at kohl’s for .99 (A STEAL, Retail 9.99,said on box). I bought this along with the megaphone and Shift3 USB Video Camera. Here in this video I have my PS2 hooked to this TV b/c of the crappy reception in my area and the copyright rules on youtube so I’m playing some GTA Vice City Stories on PS2. The Dimensions are 16:9 Aspect Ratio and the resolution is 480X300 something I cant remember Exactly. it has a built in rechargeable battery and plays for about 2.5 hours on a charge but you can use it forever on the car charger or the AC adaptor. it came with Earbuds as well as an A/V cable. you will need a 3 RCA to RCA type coupler seen here. www.radioshack.com You will need this coupler to hook your game console’s AV cables to this TV. I can hook this little TV directly up to my QAM digital cable and it will tune all the channels I get on my regular TV just the numbers are a lil weird but it will do for power outages. Well I hope you like this TV and the review but I suck at doing reviews. would I recommend this TV? if you want a cheap but good portable TV that you can also use for games or a monitor, and if you can afford 50 bucks, then Yes. its a great lil TV. if I ever get a PS2 carrying case im gonna put this TV in with my PS2 when I travel. what I dont like about it and this is probably the only thing wrong with it is where the antenna hooks to the TV the cable …

I’m not sure but I think Rockstar has this custom tracks thing or something you can download. but I dont have and PSP games b/c my UMD drive on my PSP is fucked.
thats a pretty neat little device i cant believe they would try to sell that for $200 lol! you could make your on custom portable ps2 like they did the the ps1

it said $199.99 on the box but I got it for 50. My guess is that no one was gonna pay 200 bucks for a TV like this. some things that are sold are heavily overpriced but its all about profit. notice how things that are made today they dont last? the chinese profit off of us b/c we will keep buying this cheap crap. I’m not saying this TV is bad but im talking about DVD players and box fans for example. Do america a favor and buy american and go vintage.
As for the portable PS2 i already done that lol. ill just get a PS2 case one for the phat PS2 and I have the skinny PS2 and this TV will fit nicely.
I could use that but we dont live near each other and im not comfortable giving my address over the net. if I had a P.O. box number I might.

yea thats not bad for $50 considering you can make any portable tv device you want and yea vintage all the way for sure! and im from canada but most of our vintage electronics are from the us any how lol!

no this is the setup i’m talking about my PS2 and this TV is my portable PS2 well sort of. you need an inverter for 12V car use.
I just wish that america would be put back to work b/c the job market sucks bigtime right now and unemployment is up. I have 3 words to explain all that can you guess what they are?

yup it has a built in battery thats good for 2.5 hours but I think thats TV viewing and not A/V use like here.
it would probably only last like 1 hour for AV. but heck, i dont think many people just use ariel tv anymor. most people have a dish on the roof or sky TV
I dont know the exact playtime when using the AV in b/c when in TV mode you are decoding an mpeg 2 video stream whereas with AV your just taking analog video and making it able to be shown on the TV. I dunno what processing power is required to change a composite video signal to digital if that uses more power than watching off the air TV.
